After a four year break, the team at PSR was delighted to meet with valued clients, partners and friends at the Glasstec exhibition in Düsseldorf last week. This year, we gave clients a unique perspective inside a working demonstration of a colourant forehearth.
Colourant forehearth causes a stir at Glasstec 2022
With so much to see at Glasstec, we at PSR were delighted to give prospective clients a hands-on insight into our technical expertise with our working demonstration of a colourant forehearth. The 7.5 tonne mechanism generated a great deal of interest and enthusiasm with attendees and exhibitors alike. Our team was on hand to show customers how they could add value and flexibility to their production by offering glass products in a spectrum of colours.
We have also been working hard over the last four years on a number of refractory developments which Glasstec provided us the change to finally showcase in person to the industry. Our new materials PSR-925 and PSR-930 generated a lot of interest with the considerable improvements in feeder expendable operating life that they provide.
There was plenty to catch up on with old friends, and some new faces as well. Despite apprehensions that the pandemic would deter attendance of the show, we were thrilled that people converged in good numbers and we have had good feedback from everyone.
Simon Parkinson, Managing Director at Parkinson-Spencer Refractories said:
It has been fantastic to be back at Glasstec to see our friends and colleagues in the glass community after four long years. Thank you to everyone who visited our stand and helped to make the exhibition so successful and enjoyable for us.
We hope to see you all again in 2024!
